We Call Upon Neptune, Poseidon & Namaka

A beautiful and successful boat blessing was had.  We called upon Neptune, Poseidon and Hawaiian Goddess Namaka, sister to very active Pele.  Sacrifices and offerings were made, Aloha was shared.  Laughter and many libations completed this important tradition for our sailboat “Un’Me”.

Oh mighty and great rulers of the seas and oceans – please place a protection bubble around our worthy vessel and around those who board her.  Let us hear your clear guidance on our voyages.  Let David and I have clear communication with each other and keep our intuition sharp.  We are in a marriage of the elements.  Respect to the Ocean, respect to the Winds.  May we recognize when we need to bow down.  May we continue to laugh and learn from our entertaining boating community, most especially from Salty Sage.  Bless this boat of ours as we sail, roam, wander, float and joke and share our Aloha along the way.
